Does anybody have any idea about the differences between corrado vr6 ( euro spec ), golf 3 vr6, and corrado vr6 (US spec) cooling hoses? i'm planning to buy a complete kit of silicone hoses (samco or autobahn88) but i have no idea what to buy. please if u know exactly where those cars are diferent, eventhough it's the same engine, give me a clue. some companies say ''vr6 silicone hoses for corrado, passat, golf'' but others say only for corrado( 8pcs/7pcs ) or only for MK3... I don't get it. HELP!!!

Your info is correct...Corrado VR6 Samco hoses are different from the MK3 VR6's ones. There are a lot of info also on Vortex on this topic if you want to search there

1992 Corrado 2.0 16V

I know the feeling,I'm lookin for a kit for my 2L 16V and not sure wether the VR6 one's will do the job.I'm also debating wether or not to get the samco one's or to go all stock as I'm sure they're cheaper,I'm on a budget at the moment, and if I go for stock which hoses should I choose. Can't seem to find any for the corrado,I'm guessing maybe I should be lookin for mk2 passat hoses??anyone have any ideas?

^^ I don't think that buying them all brand new oem will be cheaper than the Samco kit in the end. Oem are very expensive lately...To give you an example on my G60 the boost hose coming from the throttle body to the intercooler (90* hose) oem is something around 120euro while a 90* from Samco is 35euro!!! Unfortunately I can not help regarding the 2.0 16V ones though

yes indeed, the original hoses are way more expensive than a samco kit. and an autobahn88 kit is cheaper than samco and will do the same good job. by the way, the golf vr6 kit it's ok for the corrado vr6, i asked a guy in my country that fitted one on his rado. the only difference is the radiator hose wich is longer on the golf, so the only thing to do is cut it a little. hope this will help others. cheers!
