i believe that's a litlle on the high side, does your cooling fan still work?

1991 Corrado 1.8 G60

How much is that in Celsius if a may ask ?
The oil temp. doesn't get "much higher" then 118*C normally i think... My oil temp. is about 108 a 112*C

At a track day in summer.. my 2.8 reached 130Degrees celcius.. a little too much on the high side..

Donno what that is in Farenheit..

Then is 280 *F indeed a little bit to much...
Maybe you can first try to change your oil and the filter...And than check the oil temp again

And check the "pakkingen ?" for leeks ?!
