i am very frustrated ...
my car whent throug apk checkup and failed the test of co emision it was 0.6% ,
reason was i didnt have a cat under the car and i should buy one for 300E ,
i didnt beleave the garage so i went to an other garage and the corrie had there 0.5% it even went lower as the car got warmer it eaven hit 0.4% very nice but i wasnt convinced so i went to another garage and it had the same result 0.4% co2 and thats very good for a c.
thats 2 garages against 1 and the original first garage will not giv me a refund or retry for the check up they faild to do.
so i am very frustrated and disapointed at the garage.
What to do if you fail an emission test just by inches? A relative of mine once got the advice - before checking the co2 emission - to drive for a couple of miles with the car so the engine gets warmer. Then go to the test station. The emission of co2 than will be at the lowest rate possible. Greetz Johan
well the engine must be hot atleast 90 degrees prefrably 100c .
u could take of the vacuum hoze from the ic in the back of your throttle body.
u could take of an injector but she will run on 3 cilinders.
take of tha lamba could do it but i doubt that.
set the potentio meter in the intake 2 999 ohm or 635 ohm orignal factory default is 905 ohm.
if all this wont do tha trick go 2 dokter dik and get ur self a better chip in the motormanagement
all the above wasnot necasery for my raddo as i am pleased to know
