also, the g60 on top gear had a speedo that could rev up to 8000 rpm.

on the top gear they talked about 60 miles ph ur talking about 100kmh that means a little bit difrence in the times from 0>100 or what they say Miles (mi) ---> Kilometers (km): mi x 1.6 = km = 96 kmh

I have Mercedes-benz E200 Kompressor's (W210) compressor with 68mm pully and chip. What do you think, how much time it'll need from 0-100?

if the car on the show was a 16V and they reved up to 8000rpms then they did not have to shift out of 2nd gear and hence the faster time. The G60 does not have gearing to reach 60mph/100kph in 2nd gear.

I know I've done the 1/4 mile in 14.4sec in my G60

G60ING

How do you think, if I reve up to 7000-7500rpms, then my G60 will reach 100kph in 2nd gear?
I want to reach 100kph in 2nd gear and what to do?

You really done the 1/4 mile in 14.4sec with your stock G60?

u run 1.1 boost i presume u got a steel gasket??
try flowing ur gasvalve and manifold with a bigger ic and replace the camshaft with a 276"cam it will giv u enormous boost in acceleration i know that becaus i have driven a raddo with those modifications.
my raddo is in the intensive care but the upside is i am finaly getting my cam in the head
its a 276 cam from schrick

well i cant giv u an exact opinion but every tuner says that an 276 is nice and good and keeps the engine running smoothly sharper cams makes the engine run like a yar of stones
i got one now a 276 and it gives plenty power increase especialy in low revs
