Hey there. Quick (dumb) question from a non-technical owner...

In a country where the temp is over 40

an intercool alone wil not give u any more power or lower temps onley an intercooler wil redeuse ur power becaus of negativ flow.
instal an oilcooler that will be the trick to getting lower temps.
a big intercooler will onley help if u got a turbo or compressor on ur car becaus air heates up when u compress air so the intercooler redeuses that heatning up.

so get an oilcooler an low temp thermostat and ur the man

OK, thanks to you both!

I'll talk to my mechanic about oil coolers, and consider the future possibility of VR6 turbo (with intercooler)

*jk* I love her as she is!

Cheers!

hi there ABB i see your complaning soo far from heat, well i live here in AbuDhabi with other 3guys that have VR6 and other 2 guys have 16V well we rock ,, any ways you have dual fan with three speeds just get another temp awitch like Bertha saide ,and replace it thats it,you can have your normal low fan speed and when the temp gets bad the fast speed works before it even gets the 80C,and for the third speed you can have internaly as a switch when it gets really really hot you turn it on,,, there is a very good Garaj (AL KHOBARAA) in sharja (the profetionals) owner MR.SALEH or SALAH he can help you in any thing you want not only with RADO'S but every thing VW.

An oil cooler is the best solution. But you may install a second fan(possibly in front or the radiator facing backwards) which may be operated by a direct switch. It needs a lot of work but may help you lower the temp a bit.Greetz
