I have a problem, at the moment when my Corrado reaches its normal temp and the oil gets to 130 Degrees the oil light starts flashing and it beeps. The oil levels are fine however it has gone up to 130 degrees. Now before it never got that hot but im thinking it might be the thermo thats faulty. Has anyone had this problem?? What needed to be replaced?? PLease cause it will save me alot of money gettin it checked over by VW
Hi Thanks for the reply, I do check and service it regularly, waterpump is fine flushed the water reservoir out and so on but now found the root of the problem. The oil pump is on the way out so have to replace it.
