And i'm talking about the all-new 2009 VW Scirocco presented in the Geneva Motor Show.
Debuted in 2006 as the 'IROC' concept and it's excepted to hit the market in September 2008.
Engine is the same as the 200bhp 2.0l TFSI found in the MK5 Golf GTI. VW itself says that the new Scirocco is sleeker, lighter and faster than the MK5 GTI, but quite longer and wider. Rumours has it that there will be a 272bhp power engine (same as Audi's TTS concept car), a 1.4l turbo-supercharger TSI and a 2.0 16V TDI. It's also the first VW car that will feature the 'Active Drive Suspension system, with computer-controled dampers offering options as Comfort, Normal and Sport. Prices are to be about

I think its not that bad, i really like the frond-end!
I guess it has to grow on you, just like the Golf MK4 and 5, once you get used to it

I DON'T LINK THE GOLF(3, 4, 5,) ONLY THE R32 (ONLY FOR THE ENGINE AND BODYKIT) AND THE R-GTI AND W-12 (THOSE ARE SPECIAL)
I WISH THEY MAKE A NEW CORRADO R-GTI OR W12
CORRADO = VW'S PERFECT DISIGN,

It's a fact that after '95 (when the Corrado ended its production) there's not have been a nice coupe (like the Corrado).
The fact that the Corrado was so perfect in every aspect and because it was very expensive to produce and so to be bought, that scared VW (which had a reputation of building affortable but quality cars), and so decided that it never try to make a 'REAL' coupe.
I aggre M4RTiN, it has a nice front end, but what about the back??? To be honest i was expecting something different and much better looking for the Corrado/Scirocco successor
When i first saw the MK5 Golf i hated it. After some years i don't hate it, it's not that bad as my first impression, but definately it's not a car that i would buy. Can you honestly compare in beauty the MK1 or MK2 Golf with the Mk5???
Now that i think about it, it's actually a good thing that the alleged 'successor' of the Corrado/Scirocco ain't so beautyful, 'cause that makes the original Corrado even more genuine and special... That's my opinion anyway.

BASICALLY I PREFER ALL NEW MODELS FROM AUDI BETTER THAN VW.
JUST LOOK TO THE FRONT OF AUDI AND THE FRONT OF VW.
AUDI LOOKS MORE ADVANCED AND MORE DESIGNED.
THERE IS NO CAR LIKE CORRADO!!!
I BEGIN TO WONDER IF CORRADO IS VW

Well technically it wasn't VW designed was it. It thought Karmann styled it. They certainly had alot to do with the Corrado

That's correct indeed, it was Karmann who designed the Corrado, but that doesn't make any difference now does it? 'Cause after all it has the 'VW' badge on it (except if you fit something like a badgeless grille and clean the rear, lol ). All i'm saying is that VW is certainly don't produce facinating cars anymore (to me anyhow)

VW are getting back in to the groove of making performance cars. The Mk5 GTi was a deffinate improvement over the previous two GTi's.If the R36 engine in the forthcoming Passat is anything to go by,VW want to show the world what it is capable of.I dont think VW will ever better the Corrado though. Its legendary.
