1995 Corrado 2.9 VR6

I have a intermittent ABS light. Reading around on the web, I understand that one of the problems could be disconnected or cracked solder joints in the module. I would like to try this first and resolder the connections
I have a 1995 VR6 Corrado and live in the UK. So as you can imagine the ABS system is not with the master cylinder (no space) it is (in this case) on the Passenger side. (Big ugly thing compared to the left hand drives)

Now my question is can I take off the Module without having to uninstall the complete ABS system?
If so how.If not are there some pointers I need to keep in mind as I disassemble?
Thanks in advance.

have you checked your brake fluid level?

the light might be something completely unrelated to the ABS module
