so when im washin my car at the local carwash, can i use the pressure washer on my engine too??? is there anything under the hood that i shouldent hit with the water??? other than the air cleaner itself...
with my other rides ill do this with the motor running, but they dont have all that computer bullshite.
or should i just take a bucket and rag and go at it by hand???

1990 Corrado 1.8 G60

Acoording to many discussions, washing a Corrado engine (or general old car type one) is ok (even if i don't do it), but don't use constant high pressure on it (be carefull of the wires, dizzy, etc electronic stuff). Even if I've heard many horror stories about water penetrating into sparks, distributors or even old condition wires getting damaged. So, I would suggest that hand wash is better and you'll have no worries then for something going wrong...

what he said ^^ i've done it a couple of times on the Corrado TDI, but i can image it does no good to the wires!
