Information / Adjustments : Mittlerweile ist der Corrado verkauft. Ich hoffe der neue Besitzer hat seinen Spass damit! The Corrado has been sold. I hope the new owner has fun with it! English version below! Das erste was ich verändert habe war das Fahrwerk: Bilstein Dämpfer mit Eibach Prokit Federn. Ich hatte mich dazu entschlossen den G-Lader gegen eine andere Form der Aufladung auszuwechseln. Meine Wahl fiel auf einen Kompressor aus einem Mercedes AMG Modell. Momentan liegt der Ladedruck bei 1,1 bar, da ist aber noch Luft nach oben. Leider bin ich beim Umbau einem Betrüger aufgesessen. Unter anderem war der verbaute Chip nicht zum Setup passend, daher lag nach dem Umbau weniger Leistung als davor an. Als ich mich beschwerte waren immer andere Teile am Motor kaputt und schuld am Leistungsverlust, das ging soweit dass ich einen voll aufgebauten PG Motor mit u.a. Schmiedepleuel, Schmiedepleuel und Hubraumerweiterung auf 2 Liter verbauen liess. Leider stellte sich dieser "Rennmotor" als Niete heraus, es war ein einfacher PG mit hoher Laufleistung und Öllecks rundum. Auf diese Art und Weise hat der Möchtegern-Tuner sich viel Geld erschlichen, das er dann benutzt hat um seinen eigenen brombeerfarbenen Corrado mit Oettinger-Bodykit auf 16V-G60 umzubauen. Er ist auch nicht offiziell als Gewerbetätiger angemeldet und hat nie eine Rechnung ausgestellt. Laut seiner eidesstattlichen Versicherung gehört sein Corrado ihm nicht einmal, er besitzt offiziell auch sonst keine pfändbaren Gegenstände. So ist es unmöglich, sich von ihm das Geld wiederzuholen. Auf diese Weise will ich vor ihm warnen, denn er treibt sich sowohl in diversen deutschsprachigen VW-Foren als auch hier auf der Database herum. Seid vorsichtig welchen "Tuner" ihr an euren geliebten Corrado heranlasst, vor allem wenn es um Kompressorumbauten mit AMG, Roush oder sonstigen Kompressoren geht! _____________________________ The first thing I modified was the suspension. Running on a Bilstein/Eibach combination now. I decided to replace my G-charger with something different. My choice fell on a supercharger ("Kompressor") from an AMG Mercedes model. Boost is a moderate 1.1 bar, so there is still room for more power. As always! The guy who did this conversion, though, was a fraud. For instance, he never got the software running in a decent way, so in the end I ended up with less power than before the conversion. He then charged me for parts he claimed were broken but he never replaced to cover up his lack of technical knowledge. That way, he sucked away many Euros from my wallet, which he used to build up his own Oettinger Corrado (colored LC3U, currently a 16V-G60). As he wasn't (and isn't) declared as a commercial tuner, he didn't ever give me a receipt, bill or whatever. As it looks, I don't have a chance of getting back any money from him, as he claimed before court that he doesn't own a bloody thing and has no officially declared job. The guy is still around in diverse german-speaking VW forums as well as on the database, so do be careful about who touches your precious Corrado. Especially when it comes to offers involving AMG, Roush or other superchargers! Furthermore, there is: - K&N air filter in OEM airbox - G-charger was replaced by an AMG Kompressor - Stainless steel air pipes by a fraudulous rodent - modified chip by someone who knows what he's doing - Lupo GTI wipers - Momo steering wheel - Black OZ Exclusive wheels in 7.5x16 (currently 15" wheels for "winter") - American-style small rear license plate - Rieger front grille - Supersport 63,5 mm cat-back exhaust (crap, if you ask me!) - Bilstein dampers with Eibach springs - Pretty large Intercooler - Oil cooler |
