Information / Adjustments : I just bought my first Corrado on July 7th, 2007. I drove from my home in Dayton, OH up to Michigan, then from there out to Chicago, IL. I payed $2800 for it. When we first picked it up it didn't run, so we spent the next two days on a farm in Michigan trying to get it to run. Things I've fixed: -A/C -Heater core -New drivers side fender -New shifter bushings -New fuel filter -New thermostat -Numerous brake pads -Seatbelts -New grille -Relayed e-codes -Windshield wipers -New tie rods -New water pump -New belts -Passat sunroof Mods/upgrades: -116xxx miles -American Racing 15" wheels, painted black -BBM ISV re-route -Borla exhaust -Sonar E-codes -FK Streetline coilovers -K&N Air Filter -Neuspeed performance chip -Porsche fuel injectors -Tinted tail lights -65mm pulley --UPDATE MARCH 11-- -Put stock struts back on it with Neuspeed springs -Put original hood/spoiler back on it (see pic 5) --UPDATE MARCH 30-- -Went to rebuild the g-lader, but found that the displacer was toast, so I'm waiting on a new one. You can see pics of it in the album. -Painted valve cover -New drivers side fender on it! --UPDATE APRIL 16-- I got my Corrado back on the road again on Sunday! It's never run this good in the time that I've had it. There are updated pics of it in the April 2008 showcase, showing off my new tinted tail lights! --UPDATE AUGUST 26-- Over the last few months I've been working on making it into a 16V G60. I've also put on FK Coilovers and repainted the front end. ISV reroute has also recently been completed. --UPDATE AUGUST 31, 2009-- I garaged the car in October of 2008 when I bought a 2001 GTI 1.8T. I pulled it back out in May and deleted the power steering, put in a new headliner, started refinishing some new wheels, as well as repainted the motor. The car was starting to rust while in storage so I cleaned up the bumpers and fenders and primed the car. Also put new ball joints, headlights, and shaved the side moldings and rear hatch. --UPDATE JUNE 2010-- Car was painted black in October. Also now has 1" spacers in the front and 1.5" spacers in the rear. |
