Information / Adjustments : This is my second car with a G lader. My first project car was a Polo G40 Genesis 1992. I've traded that car in for this Corrado G60. At purchase, this car was in bad condition. First of all, the G lader was not usable anymore, it still worked but the state of it was bad. This was the first thing that I wanted to be sure to fix, so I've replaced the G lader with a good one and ofcourse, an overhauled one. After that, I've replaced the coilovers. The car already had coilovers at purchase, but they were leak and rusted. Then came the BBS RM's, 15x8 at the front, 15x9 at the rear. New outer lips on them, new "gold" bolts and powdercoated in bright red. The headlights weren't original, so weren't the rear lights, I've replaced and painted the headlights and tail lights. The car was SO loud at purchase, it wasn't do'able. It only had a rear muffler, the rest was gone. It now has a stainless exhaust at the back and an original silencer in the middle. The car needs a paint job (probably white), the car has very little rust, this will be fixed first. The bodywork is very very neat, no dents to be seen! I've replaced the interior with american seats, so the back seat is in one piece. The steering wheel is Fittipaldi. To be continued. |
