Corrado 1.8 16V

Manufacture Date: 1991
Owner: T~Roc from Canada, British Columbia
Colorcode: L041 (Black was delivered from 1988 till 1995)
Bought on date: September 2013

Information / Adjustments :
Bought the car with only 107,000 kms on it.
Engine caught fire before it reached 110,000 kms.
Saved it by smothering the flames with Randy's (our Pitbull) blanket in the backseat.
Wished to restore the paint.
Had lots of small dents for the Grey-metallic colour it would have re-done (ordered original colour) so some effort was made.
Friend gave me his supercharger from his "curbsided" one. Unsure how bad it is, so plan on sending it to BBM in Oregon (now in Washington) to restore. Sold it to another and bought one with around 30000 kms on it (ported to Stage 2 or 3)
Once it's installed I'll send them the other and have it restored, too. Always nice to have a ready-backup
Highschool buddy brought out his camera to take detailed pics after I detailed her and our application was approved - she's now been given Collector Status!
One week too late for the Great Canadian VW Show in Vancouver in August 2018...
Working on her to be ready for August 2019!
"Collector" plates no longer permits me to drive it for work anymore.
I work under 10 minutes drive away, and feel less stressed about having her dinged by another car while she awaits my return.
Now she can go out and enjoy stretching her rubber for a drive on Hwy 99 instead and enjoy the winding scenic roads with me for REAL DRIVES.
Think I prefer that

Wishlist :
This weekend we hope to have a sweet, fun drive to Vancouver on hopefully an uncongested 100+ kms of Hwy 99.
Mechanic buddy in Richmond is helping me swap the G-lader supercharger, replace all my coolant and supercharger hoses with new red silicone onesant ABA clamps from Sweden (BBM now has a great price on this stuff right now.
Still awaiting their ignition wire set (also a great deal) but will change the plugs, cap and rotor while we're doing all this.

Even with the high prices of gas right now, I look forward to days off just so I can drive her ANYWHERE cuz these cars feel sooo good on the road
Woohoo!
